Your holiday resort is located at the heart of Playa del Inglés, right in front of the Shopping Centres “Kasbah”, “Metro” and “Plaza Maspalomas”. The famous promenade Avenida Marítima is only 350 metres away and the beach is only 400 metres away. There you can find the renowned Dunes of Maspalomas, a protected natural space and a paradise for those who want to soak up some rays or go for a walk on the beach.
Hotel receptionOur front desk is open 24-7 and there you can rent safe deposit boxes. The staff will gladly help you at any time and give you directions to get to the most beautiful places in the island.
Please do not hesitate to ask about car rentals, site seeing tours or any other queries you might have. For travellers looking for sport activities, we have a gym (available at an additional charge) with a personal trainer. For golfers, we’ll be happy to book one of the many golf courses available. For those who prefer miniature golf, we recommend our mini golf (at an additional cost), located right next to the hotel. For children and the most adventurous, we recommend paying a visit to “Aqualand”.
You won’t need to worry about your laundry. You can wash your clothes directly with Heike in the “Quick Wash” launderette. Do you need a haircut or a new hairstyle during your holidays? No problem! Mandy will take care of you in our hairdresser’s “Hair and Beauty-Salon”. They also offer manicure and pedicure. There is also a doctor, a pharmacy and a Spar supermarket.
Captain's DeckCome and relax comfortably in our exclusive “Captain’s Deck” (the entrance fee includes towels and 1 drink per person), with Bali sunbeds, a Jacuzzi and artificial turf. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful time. Our waiters will bring you the food and drinks your order to your bed. Pure relaxation. And of course you can also make use of our Finnish sauna, located in the swimming pool area.
ApartmentsOur 116 apartments are distributed over 8 floors and they have a bedroom with 2 separate beds; a living area with an open-planned kitchen, an electric plate, a refrigerator, a coffee machine, a water boiler, a spacious balcony with a sun lounger, a terrace table and chairs, a bathroom with shower, WC and a hair dryer. All the apartments in the main building have air conditioning with heat and cool functions, as well as a telephone and SAT-TV. You can also use 2 elevators to get to your apartment. Wi-Fi is available in all Comun Zones and Apartments (for free). Apartments are cleaned 5 days a week.
You can book our “Standard Apartments” (floors 1 and 2 in the wing building), “Superior Apartments” (floors 2 to 7 in the main building)or our “Deluxe Apartments” (floors 7 to 8 in the main building), through any travel agency.
Deluxe apartment include a welcome bottle of wine, sauna and, depending on availability, ocean views. If you make your booking through a travel agency you can select a specific category, if you make a direct reservation, a Deluxe apartment will be assigned if available.
Restaurant Papa Joe's
Breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. When the weather is nice, you can also have breakfast and dinner in our outdoor dining area. Dinner is served between 5.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. You will be able to choose one of our 3-course menus, which consist of a starter, a main course with choice of meat, fish, a vegetarian dish or a typical dish of the Spanish cuisine; and dessert. The fixed-price menus change every day and dessert can be chosen from a weekly menu. If you prefer, you can also choose from our large à-la-carte menu. Enjoy a delicious meal inside a classic sailboat.

Lounge BarWe will be delighted to serve you a cold beer, refreshments and all kinds of cocktails in our lounge bar “Captain Hock”. There are regular Bingo nights during the year; in the summer, there are Disco-Parties in the swimming pool bar; and, in the winter months, there is live music. All sports events are displayed on big screens. From June to September, our swimming pool bar is open until late in the evening.

OktoberfestOktoberfest “The Beer Festival”, a traditional German festival. The last 2 Saturdays in September and the first one in October we celebrate this typical Munich festival at the Maritim Playa Hotel.
